His book “Raavan” is a better book than the other two in the Ram Chandra series. The greatest strength of this series is the perspectives of each major characters. It helps to show that even what’s universally considered good and evil can have different dimensions and validity. With this book, we get to know Raavan. We get to learn his deepest desires and his biggest fears and his strongest characteristics. The author has managed to make us invested in this villain more than he was able to get us interested in the heroes. We grow up with Raavan, and Kumbhakarna, in a fantastical Lanka and go on an epic journey of love, anguish, desires and the eternal internal battle we all wage within ourselves between our better angels and the monsters.

“A Crown of Lilies” is an amazing novel with a beautiful story. Melissa Ragland is the author of this novel. The author has a great name in the list of great novelists. This novel has great characters that talk to each other and listen to each other and most importantly respect each other. When they mess up, there are consequences they have to work through. It is sweet, charming and well written for the readers of all ages.

“Two Thousand Years” is a fast-paced novel that combines the best elements of suspense, thrill, drama and romance. M. Dalto is the author of this novel. The author is so good at character development. His fictional characters are always fascinating and memorable. It is a story written with knowledge of true fiction, realistic characters you want to root for, romance, and a mystery with a satisfying ending. This novel is an enjoyable read with constant developments between the past and the present. There are several sub-themes woven into the primary setting of the novel. It is a great story with an imaginative plot, believable characters and most of all heart and wisdom. The novel’s deeply affecting conclusion is poignant yet uplifting. The author’s style is charismatic and entertaining, even if a bit self-indulgent. There are numerous twists and turns and unexpected events occurring to put suspense in the story. The author beautifully plots the novel and injects the new characters timely which makes it the most entertaining read.

“The Mongoliad” is a great story to anyone interested in the cyberpunk type science fiction. Neal Stephenson is the author of this novel. The author is a great Hard science fiction writer and really know how and when to entertain the readers. The story which he lays over this construct is great and it is certainly readable. This story is built with two protagonists and two slowly intertwining story arcs that meet in a very satisfying way. During the reading, readers can these scenes in their head very clearly. The dialogue is nice and tight and the author doesn’t over explain things or sail off into inconsequential avenues of exploration. If you enjoy sci-fi with huge backdrops but drilled down and focused well developed characters, you will dig this. Bonus points if you are a noir fiction fan. One other note, this book aims to illuminate what the author imagines as an “in between” or middle stage of humanity’s journey out of the solar system. While many sci-fi stories focus on the near future and many others use the far-flung future as the grist for their tales. That said, this is an epic saga worthy to be called sci-fi. The ageless drama of every aspect of the human condition wrapped in a vac suit and hauling loads of ice home to feed and fuel the 40 billion humans on the inner planets.

The “Perfect Shadow” lingers long after you turn the final page. Brent Weeks is the author of this novel. The author’s excellent storytelling skills could be judged by this impressive and amazing novel. The author starts the novel with some beautiful characters and then added more characters to make a good pace for readers. The story of the novel is clearly brilliant and easy to understand as each character is connected with others so strongly and in a most entertaining way. It completely lives up to the hype.
